Norfolk’s Christmas Markets  

Christmas Markets is not necessarily something you would associate with Norfolk but we now have quite a few on the calendar and they are growing in popularity each year, attracting visitors and exhibitors from all over the Country. 

Christmas Markets are a must to get you into the Christmas spirit and with helping to find unique gifts that cannot be found on the High Street. It’s also a fantastic way of supporting independent small businesses. Below are five of our favourite Christmas Markets (but there are many more to explore)!

Deepdale Christmas Market

Located at Dalegate Market in Burnham Deepdale, on the North Norfolk Coast, the Deepdale Christmas Market has over 120 local artisans and producers. All willing to help you in finding the perfect gift or decoration that can not be found on the high street. They pride themselves on having something for every budget, every present list and every taste.

There are lots of food and drink stalls, including the Deepdale Cafe, pizzas, pies, crepes and not forgetting the mulled wine and minced pies to keep you all refuelled to continue with your browsing.. 

It's a must for Christmas Shopping!

Sandringham Christmas Gift Fair

Set in the grounds of the Sandringham Estate, this is the perfect place to get you into the Christmas spirit. It is a traditional Christmas craft, food and gift Fair where you will love the diverse array of over three hundred crafters, artists and specialist food producers bringing you a choice of unique and special gifts for all your loved ones.

There will also be Christmas entertainment with Santa and his magical owls and reindeer, stunning ice sculptures, unicorn-drawn carriage rides, Fiery Jack and his amazing Games Emporium and Christmas Cabaret tent; top chefs sharing Christmassy recipes and a fabulous line-up of live music.

Norwich’s Biggest Christmas Market

White House Farm on the outskirts of Norwich will be transformed into a winter wonderland with more than 100 stalls, some local, and some from far and wide, offering food and wine delights, as well as Christmas wreaths, crafts, charms, fabrics, and knits. It is all under cover so the weather will not be able to dampen anyone's Christmas spirit. 

Known as Norwich’s biggest Christmas Market, it’s time to get together with your friends or family for a festive shopping trip.

Gt Yarmouth Christmas Market

Great Yarmouth Market Square will be filled with beautifully decorated wooden chalets and gazebos housing all sorts of festive goodies. Be entertained by street entertainers and hear festive music from 12 noon to 5pm organised by SeaChange Arts.

There will be a traditional funfair to keep the children (and adults) entertained and lots of food and drink stalls to taste your festive favourites.

Holkham Festive Food Fair 

Set in the Lady Elizabeth Wing on the Holkham Estate there will be over 50 local and regional producers all hoping to tickle your tastebuds. There will be live cookery demonstrations from a array of local chefs which is a great opportunity to pick up on any good tips.

You will not be short on a choice of gifts to buy for any "foodie" friends or family with fudge, german chocolates, christmas puddings, chutney and jams galore to name a few and not forgetting the local gins and cider to wash it all down! The Courtayrd Cafe will be open throughout the weekend so you can refuel after looking at all the mouth watering treats.
